Dakota Meyer is an esteemed keynote speaker and decorated former United States Marine. Born in Columbia, Kentucky, Dakota grew up with a strong sense of duty and community, which later shaped his life's mission. He joined the Marine Corps in 2006, serving with distinction and courage through multiple combat deployments. In 2011, Dakota Meyer was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions during the Battle of Ganjgal in Afghanistan. Despite coming under intense enemy fire, he rescued 36 soldiers, U.S. and Afghan alike. His bravery and quick thinking saved many lives on that fateful day, earning him the nation's highest military honor.
Since retiring from active duty, Dakota has committed himself to inspiring others. His experience in the military has provided invaluable lessons on leadership, resilience, and teamwork, which he now shares with audiences around the world.
